Cat Chat 16 Jan 12

A matter of paternity!

When I was sent the photos of Mousey last month I did a double take because he looks just like Charlie, the cat we took in last August. And guess what? Charlie was rescued just around the corner from the bin that Mousey and his sibblings were found in. But don't take my word for it, take a look at these pics and decide yourself...

and son?

Charlie is about 5 years old and was found last March roaming the streets near Tourline Express. He was in a terrible condition but luckily was taken in by Sonia at Tourline Express who nursed him back to health. He must've fathered Mousey just before being taken in.

We took him in August because Sonia couldn't keep him at the shop or take him back to her flat as she already has two cats. We had planned to re-home him but have fallen in love with this very sweet and loving boy - and now it seems he has a son. This will be his last though as he had the snip soon after arriving at ours.

News from Hillary

- our resident 'cat lady'

This is a rare picture of George kitten being good and cuddling up to Beryl the Peril instead of jumping on her - it didn't last !!!

His favourite hobbies are:- jumping on the 3 other cats in the house (who are about 8 times his size) & being amazed when they don't think its funny; chasing everything that moves, especially his foster carer's feet & knitting needles - but only when the stitch is really tricky!! chewing and biting everything that moves - especially the afore mentioned cats, foster carer's feet & needles, eating unsuitable things from the floor, like ants and sleeping where ever its inconvenient! Of course he's loved & of course his foster carers are keeping him !

A Happy Ending

This beautiful ginger boy was dumped in the log store of Sandra and Bill Higgins when he was just a tiny kitten in the summer of 2010.

His sibblings didn't survive and his mother was killed by dogs, but this lucky fella survived and is obviously thriving in his new "home sweet home".
