Volunteer
Giving your time is one of the greatest gifts you can give us. We are always looking for volunteers. There are a number of ways your can help out.
Dog Socialising
Group dog walking takes place every Tuesday & Thursday between 9.30 and 11.00. This is something our dogs always look forward to and a great way for you to meet new friends - both human and canine! The session helps build the dogs' social skills, getting them ready for their forever home.

We will match dogs with your size and stature to ensure everyone is safe.

Charity Shop
Got a morning to spare and would you like to join our team in our Albox Charity Shop?
​
We ask that team members give a commitment to a regular morning at least once a week. We always need help sorting through new items, re-stocking and dealing with customers on the shop floor.
Our shop is open from 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
Fostering
We are always looking for temporary foster homes for dogs that are on their way to the UK, helping them to adjust being in a family home.

All costs are covered by APSA and the average time a dog would be with you is between 2-6 weeks. We sometimes ask for long term fosters for older dogs.

Fund Raising
Feeling creative? Why not organise a fund raising event of your own in aid of APSA?
​
A coffee morning, cake sale, garden party, prize raffle or a sponsored walk are just some of the ways you can raise money for our dogs, while having great fun with your friends at the same time.
