More kitten news...

They have been with me for two weeks now and are a time consuming delight. The white kitten (variously called Smudge or Groucho – she hasn’t chosen her name yet) is much more advanced than her sister (Tiffany from East Enders? Very loud and skinny but cute and canny) and is now eating real food as well as taking her turn at the bottle, not so ginger kitten – she is very much a bottle girl.

Smudge or Groucho, either way a sweetie

Both are litter tray trained – well done them, it was a lot easier than potty training children, I just put the litter tray down and within 24 hours they were using it – this was much to my relief as tiny kittens need help with their ablutions in the form of gentle massage to get things moving, just how firmly can you massage a tiny kitten?? This time George was no help at all so I was on my own – we managed!!

So I finally managed the art of bottle feeding two tiny kittens at the same time after much bottle juggling and spillage – I now have an MA in bottles – then Oh Calamity a chum who is not quite allergic to cats asked if she could come and stay – in the time honoured tradition I yelled “Granny” and off they went for a week’s holiday across the rambla – as you can see they’ve grown
